Foamglass Granulates

Foamglass granulates are made for insulating and reduction of natural resource e.g. in concrete and tile adhesives.

For the production, it is important to form small beads and keep this form during the sintering process. Therefore, there are more process steps compared to the gravel production and specific needs of raw materials.

Foamglass Gravel

Foamglass gravel is used as a substitute for natural gravel. It is much lighter, more durable and many mor advantages.
It is made of recycling glass which cannot be used for container glass production.

It is produced by grinding, mixing with a gassing agent and controlled tempering in an online process.

Foamglass Blocks

Foamglass blocks can be used as an insulating material in buildings against heat-losses, moisture or noise.

It is produced by foaming in an online-process and especially cooled down in a controlled way. After that, the foamglass-ribbon is cut into the wanted blocks. Alternatively or for specific dimension, the foaming and cooling process can be done also in specific forms.
